George’s Mobile Garage Service Disclaimer
Please read this entire disclaimer carefully before authorizing any work. By utilizing the services provide by George’s Mobile Garage (the “Mobile Mechanic”), you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
- Assumption of Risk and Liability
- Work Location: All services will be performed at the location specified by the client (e.g., home, office, parking lot). The client assumes all responsibility for the suitability, safety, and legality of the chosen work site.
- Property Damage: While the Mobile Mechanic will exercise reasonable care, the client acknowledges and accepts the inherent risks associated with performing mechanical repairs outside of a controlled workshop environment. The Mobile Mechanic is not liable for incidental, secondary, or consequential damage to the surrounding property (e.g., driveways, lawns, pavement, surrounding vehicles, etc.) caused by spills, dropped tools, jacking, or normal service procedures.
- Existing Conditions: The Mobile Mechanic is not responsible for pre-existing damage, faults, or conditions on the vehicle that are discovered or become apparent during the repair process.
- Parts and Warranty
- Parts Sourcing: Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, the Mobile Mechanic will provide new or remanufactured parts appropriate for the repair.
- Warranty: The Mobile Mechanic warrants its labor for a period of 90 days or 3,000 miles, whichever comes first, from the date of service. Parts provided by the Mobile Mechanic are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty only.
- Client-Supplied Parts: If the client chooses to supply their own parts, the Mobile Mechanic provides no warranty on those parts or the labor performed using those parts. The client assumes all risk regarding the quality, suitability, and functionality of client-supplied parts.
- Vehicle Condition and Post-Repair Responsibility
- Fitness to Drive: The Mobile Mechanic will advise the client if the vehicle is, in their professional opinion, unsafe to operate. However, the client is solely responsible for determining the vehicle’s roadworthiness after the service is completed.
- Fluid Levels/Check Engine Light: The client is responsible for monitoring fluid levels, warning lights, and vehicle performance immediately following any service. Any issues must be reported to the Mobile Mechanic immediately. Failure to report issues promptly may void any potential warranty claim.
- Further Damage: The Mobile Mechanic is not responsible for any damages or further repair costs incurred as a result of the client’s failure to follow advice, misuse of the vehicle, or continued operation of a vehicle known to have a fault.
- Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the Mobile Mechanic’s liability for damages arising out of the performance of services exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific repair service giving rise to the claim. The Mobile Mechanic is not liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, lost wages, loss of use of the vehicle, or rental car expenses)
